The Annual Spring Market in Vale do Lobo offers a fantastic weekend event for all the family. Showcasing favorite local businesses with exciting, interesting handicrafts, wines, honey, jewelleries, gourmet products etc. Wolf Valley Charity were in attendance and everyones generosity raised about 500 €.
This annual event was again a great fundraising success. The event comprised of 2 in a team, a stapleford format and best scores count on each hole. Attended by 108 people with amazing prizes donated for the first 3 winners. A lot of fun was had and the total raised was €8,500.00. This goes a long way to raising money for the new van for St. Vicente de Paul Society. The societies aim is to combat poverty and help those most in need in the Parish of Almancil.
WVC organized a ‘Tea Party’ set in the beautiful gardens belonging to Janet and family. This event was attended by approximately 40 people, a mix of residents, friends and local business owners. Janet baked scrumptious scones with cream and jam along with other delicious cakes baked for the occasion. Tea and chat were flowing and it was a lovely afternoon with donations reaching €2075.00. The funds raised were allocated to ‘Refood’ a local charity supplying food to 300 families in need within the local area.
A health and fitness initiative organized in conjunction with VDL and Loule Council. This initiative is to promote health by organizing a free ‘run’ event. Up to 1000 participants are expected and WVC will be in attendance and we appreciate any donations given. Sign up for this free event
We are currently exploring local restaurants to accommodate a lunch event. We are hoping to host this event in October with a set menu choice. More information to follow soon.

Wolf Valley Charity Fund has been busy during December. The Christmas Market was held at Vale Do Lobo with the traditional Tombola. The twelwe children in “Casa da Primera Infancia” each received new sneakers for Christmas. Edda met the Association ”Vicente de Paulo” when 88 food packages topped up with a leg of turkey and olive oil were ready for delivery,
